My non-ICTP car shows that, whilst both of the ICTP equipped cars show the notifications toggle instead.This is what I get on my phone.

Off topic (now there's a novelty) but seeing as you have a brand new XJ to play with, Terry, perhaps you can answer the question about whether or not either the cabin button or the fob button also closes the boot lid as well as opening it. Certainly doesn't on my MY15 Portfolio.

I haven’t tried, I’ll check when I get back to the depot tonight. I’m pretty sure they’re open only since it’s a trap risk.

My 13 plate XF Sportbrake boot will stop closing, retreat a bit and blip the sounder if you try to stop the boot closing. It doesn't exert enough where near enough force to cause any damage before it retreats.
Unless maybe you suffer from particularly brittle bones of course.. or are an egg...

You require phase 3.5 17C or phase 4 18B to get sms on ICTP.
Don’t forget that you need to delete the Bluetooth profile, then reconnect to the car when the upgrade is complete.

Yup. I’m on 3.5 17c and I have lost count of the times I’ve deleted my profile!

All profiles removed and mine still doesn't do it.
Before I removed the profiles the phone connected to the ICTP immediately...now it messes about for a bit
Note to self...
If it ain't broke just leave it alone and, besides, who sends texts these days anyway?
