But the A1 has so much more history. You could see Robin Hoods Well, or as you're going over the viaduct at Wentbridge you could view the river where Robin Hood fought Little John (and where I crushed a disc in my neck) or you could pop off at Campsall and visit the 1000 year old church where the first written record of Robin Hood exists.

And don't get me started about the A630 junction. Only where Sir Walter Scott wrote the book Ivanhoe or Douglas Bader used to live.

...Or Redhouse Junction where you could see where Paddington Bear was made or just a couple of miles away where Jeremy Clarkson used to live.

Didn't pip, just waved. Traffic was a bit crap, and lots of cars still with no lights on in poor conditions. Anyway arrived safe, and very comfortable.
