2013 XF Jaguar bluetooth issue. bluetooth has always worked fine with my android phone both phone and pandora music. wife plugged iphone into usb port now when I try to use my pandora I get a screen that says Bluetooth Audio device is disconnected. Connection of an apple device via usb will disable Bluetooth Audio. I have cleared all devices and reconnected my phone it says it is connected but then kicks it out and displays message. The android phone still works fine with the bluetooth just kicks me out when I try to use pandora.

Hi Bricky - don't get your hopes up for an answer from me, I've just come in from the cold after spending n hour trying to sort out the same situation with my 2012 XF.
Worked a dream until today. Done everything you have, with an iPhone 7 Plus - deleted, restarted, renamed, cleared, swept, fiddled and f****d about with nothing in reward.
Any of you wise peeps out there got any ideas? Is there a way to reset things in the car at all, eg reset to factory settings etc?
Cheers
Chris

Sorry to hear that. I'm convinced it started when your wife plugged in her iPhone into the USB. I had plugged my iPod into the USB socket and all was well until I reverted to BT and iPhone. After messing around with every combination of attempts, I unplugged the iPod, and deleted (again) all phones and devices from BT Audio. I also reset network settings on the iPhone just in case. Then I restarted car and iPhone and went through the BT setup doing Car To Device method. All went well after that. YMMV but it seems to be an issue with the car that can't revert to BT once another Apple device has been connected via USB. Good luck. ;-)

I am convinced that Bluetooth drivers in a car need updates, but this is something that is not on the radar..............

were you able to figure this out...i have deleted all bluetooth connections, unplugged the USB cable and then readded my android. Still no luck. I can play music, but the control on the left hand side will not change songs. Phone does not work thru the bluetooth even though it says connected. It will not allow me to disconnect the phone either

Do you think the car or Pandora could be holding on to the connection to the iPhone? Have you tried reconnecting the iPhone and then disconnecting through the phone controls? I wonder if it is acting a bit like a USB memory stick that won't eject from a computer? Or could it be an issue with Pandora if the BT connection is working for music or speech? Does Pandora only allow one connection at a time?
