Hi all!

Let me introduce another one mod that almost done, except correct coding via SDD.

First of all was ordered 7pin roof wiring C2Z 19208.
Second step was found the interior mirror with AHB function from X351:

The AHB unit has next label:

After during 1.5 hour was disassembled pillar and pick up roof lining for route new wiring.

Unfortunately this mod isn't just play&play as Auto Dipping Mirror mod, there must be made some CCF file modification with programming AHB module that named in SDD as "HCMB".
For this moment the CCF already modified, HCMB module programmed, even there new AHB menu is already displayed in Setting:

But is big problem with AHB for now, after star vehicle the AHB indicator lights on dash:

after 30 seconds its shutdown, the AHB menu still present in Setings, but this function does work, DTC shows U020100 (incorrect coding), I hope during short time solve this problem, the CJB and RJB settings modified, but AHB isn't still activate.

Now seating how solve this problem, happiness that auto dipping mode work property, even approach mirror lamps were activate.

After the problem with AHB will be solve, start to retrofit Rear Blind option :)

Hey buddy, I fitted a brand new loom C2Z19208 the seven pin roof harness, when I plug it in and connect the keyless entry module in the roof The car does not lock or start. Once I reconnect the old loom car back to normal. Lol that’s me buddy love old retro fits etc always a CPR specialist.
I just love to enhance my knowledge of SDD too 😂

08292 isn't around much, you could try a PM in case he does pop on.
Gav wrote up on getting going with SDD in the X260 section, have a read at that.
As for the looms etc, you'll need advice direct from 02892

Sorry for the delay buddy, you know work commitment. Thank you so much for your help. I have found a website called drive2 which states my loom already has the wires for the high beam assist but jag only made 20 cm of it and looped it back into the block connector. I can retire that to the front and into pin 7/8 just need then to know how to install on SDD

Hi,
I am now trying to retro fit AHBA to my Jaguar xf I have tried to fit the wiring loom same part number to yours but when I connect to the keyless entry antenna the car does not lock or start. I have noticed that on my old loom the connector to the antenna is black but on the new loom it’s purple. Did you have to change your antenna? if so what was the part number. As I.‘m stuck at this point. I have the mirror and sdd to change the software just can’t get the car to lock or unlock so I have had to refit old loom. Many thanks in advance for your assistance regards Jay

I think your car has the temperature sensor malfunction, its always reading 0ºC

Great work, as usual :D

I hope you're documenting all of these upgrades & writing step by step guides to publish at a later date ;)

Nice work mate.

Sounds like a fantastic upgrade (I won't call it a mod as what you're doing is retro-fitting an optional extra). I think what would put most people off going down this route is the software changes that need to be made. It's a shame Jaguar make this side of things so complicated. (To me anyway!).

As for me it isn't harder or easier if make it in German cars, the main problem is the lack of information about JLR Group software. For example in VW GROUP the aftermarket diagnostic software is more user-friendly that geniune VAS.
