Alternator is a bit of a pig to do. If taking your time for the first time it's an easy 3-4 hours, for the local Jag indy who knows what they are doing it's still over 2 hours quoted. I'm sure genuine OEM Denso ones are over £500 and worth going for from what I've gathered.
