My vote is - keep the I-Pace.
It still looks good and its hard to get excited by EVs
I had a EV6 GT on order (disagree that it’s ugly but that‘s subjective) but decided to cancel when I realised I still like my F-Pace too much and will probably order another last of line SVR when the time comes (just trying to work out when Jag will stop making the SVR…)

Maybe I won't be looking at the M50.

A Bugatti then, Chris? ;)

But on a serious note when he was talking about the Buagatti, he mentioned the remote diagnosis when something cropped up with the car. Why isn't that available on more mundane cars, like Jags? In this day and age, it's quite easy. Even the machines I sell have remote "intervention" if it's needed.

It's coming. But it's one of things that needs a lot of money to get going, the sort of thing people that buy Bugatti's will fund without even thinking about it. Plus there's the software for the car that needs creating. Take our I-PACE, over few months a new update comes out and slowly more and more of the car's modules can be updated over the air. When they first start this only the infotainment and main BCU could be updated so they've had to write the software to do it.

Perhaps you should try the M50 & make up your own mind about it. I'm struggling to think of anything else that fits your criteria since you've excluded Kia & Tesla.

There's an electric A6 on the horizon that's supposed to be kicking off at £50K but I'd guess that you'd not want the poverty spec after having an iPace?

I'm going to get a test drive in one. The clip being in that video was just coincidental.

Funny thing is that the M50 is a similar price as the I-PACE, judging by the carwow quotes I've been receiving. The lease prices are a lot more though. I'd imagine interest rates aren't helping.

That A6 actually looks pretty nice, apart from those things at the rear. Found this little article. Sub 4 seconds...

Audi A6 e-Tron
Thankfully the future isn’t entirely SUV shaped, with Audi previewing both Sportback and Avant versions of its upcoming A6 e-Tron. With an expected on sale date some time in 2024, it’ll sit alongside the combustion-powered A6 in a transitional period.
The teased specifications certainly sound tempting, with 800-volt architecture allowing exceedingly rapid charging, the 100kWh battery targeting a 435 mile range in WLTP testing and twin electric motors providing a sub-4.0 second 0-62mph time.

The latest estimates are for a starting price of £60,000 for the single motor RWD version. It doesn't therefore look as if you're going to get much change from £80,000 for the basic AWD model.

The basic E-Tron GT is £84K with a smaller battery & with a few essential options it's nearer £90K.
