Wee Nippy.. it's a Nawe then

Whilst our love of Scotland is inversely proportional to their hatred of England ( I've deliberately used that term), perhaps we can try and have a nice discussion on the subject of their independence....

If not, unflattering pics of wee nippy are very welcome.

Hmmm, I see a headline with Sturgeon saying that the decision on vaccinating 12-15 year olds is expected "within days". Waiting for England to go first by any chance?

Also, this NI increase which is a Westminster controlled tax so to speak, so therefore Sturgeon can't prevent it (not that she would - more money money money) and I believe that because it's earmarked for the NHS and the NHS in Scotland in devolved then the money has to go to the Scottish Government first, on the condition that it will all be used for the NHS in Scotland. Will this be enforced by Westminster or will we see another money disappearing act as it is pumped into Indy Ref 2.0 ?

What happened to Scotland's state-run energy company?

The ' It's Westminster/the U.K's fault, not ours.. ' from the SNP continues:
"The reality is a public energy company will not resolve what are very serious systemic problems in the UK energy network and the UK energy system that the UK government have failed to address over many decades."

I'm not anti SNP (or Scotland, which I love), but the SNP's continual apportioning of blame elsewhere/anywhere else is utterly amazing.

Or is it just me?

Nope, they are hopeless at everything, but it's never their fault.

They keep quiet about this:
Firms from Turkey, Romania and Poland are now in contention for the contracts to build the ferries, which will serve the islands of Islay and Jura.

whilst coming out with sh1te like this:
The first minister added: "We will continue to support the shipyards, we will continue to support the workers there and we will continue to do everything to make sure that it is in a position to compete".

Despite this:
Glen Sannox is currently due to be delivered in the second half of next year, more than four years late, with the two ships costing the taxpayer more than double the original contract price.

and this which I'm sure we can guarantee is spiteful revenge by Sturgeon and probably nothing to do with tender.
The Ferguson shipyard, which is based at Port Glasgow in Inverclyde, had been among 11 bidders for the order to replace the ferries on the Islay route, but failed to make the shortlist.

And of course they keep very quiet about this:
Work has officially started on a £1.25bn project to build five new warships for the Royal Navy.
UK Defence Secretary Ben Wallace cut the first steel for the first Type 31 frigate - HMS Venturer - due to be built by Babcock at Rosyth in Fife.
The fleet's construction will support about 1,250 highly skilled jobs at Babcock and lead to an additional 150 apprenticeships.

Toxic, hateful and incompetent are probably the only words needed to describe the Scottish Government and SNP. They just say stuff without any data, evidence or backup and the face painters lap it up.

I so wish you weren't so automatically protective of Scotland, and anything and everything that happens within it Graham...

Lol

To be fair it's not Scotland, but a certain element within. It's the hate and hypocrisy I dislike the most though. I would love to be proud of my country, but this rather prominent element are such an embarrassment.

Boris Johnson is set to go to war with the SNP by directly funding major projects in Scotland & ordering an audit on Sturgeon’s spending. The plans will see huge sums of money bypass the SNP to be spent upgrading road & transport links...

Pretendy Referendy won't be happening then??

Sigh...somehow it will be Westminster's fault.

I see the well nourished SNP's in Westminster are putting in bumper expenses again.
Another Fail - I see the Scottish government has had problems translating 'happy Burns night' into Gaelic, wishing their electorate a pleasant trip to the A&E ward.
It wasn't a Scottish government problem Horlicks, it was Westminster's fault.. I don't know quite how yet, but I'm sure the SNP will let us know soon.. (y)
