XFR-S do demand a premium unfortunately. Some will ask for a tracker but I found one that didn’t require one as the saving wasn’t worth the cost of the tracker.

I’m with saga and will see what happens when I tell them, they’ve been very good so far... However, the concern is what would they pay if stolen/ wrecked? I imagine I will have to look elsewhere for some kind of agreed value limited mileage thing...

Nothing else in the current range of my usual stuff seems to meet my criteria or more realistically my heart. . Audi, merc, bmw, all leave me cold. I’m thinking this is the car I want until I decide to go electric, probably with an ipace, like yourself, but in a good few years, maybe 4,interestingly!

Ok, had a look. Tbh I was thinking of a steering lock and faraday pouch?😀 Maybe a moby in the boot to help police triangulate, if that’s a thing lol.

Get yourself some decent GAP insurance that will pay the difference between what you paid and what the car is worth in the eyes of the insurance co. Return to Invoice.

You may also be better talking to a specialist who understands this type of cars value better.

Health to enjoy it. She’s a beauty.

Another popped up. Car number 14, the one after mine. Ex-press car.

Looks like it has had paint on the passenger side. Some odd dark patches on the front door, then photo 124 shows some peeling.

Highish mileage, should be interesting to see what it goes for…

Chris, I’m wondering if this is the one I had my mechanic look at that was for sale a while back ? The reg rings a bell but there were a few ov14 regs I think. But after reading the above… I didn’t keep any records of it after the debacle of it all…

It was a press car. So used and possibly abused. Not sure who's owned it for the last few years though.

I wouldn't say 72k isn't particularly high mileage. It is 7 years old.

Single battery and no stop start like yours too Chris, was that the case for all the sportbrakes?

Not 100% sure. I vaguely remember something about stop start on the Sturgess loan car I had in 2015 but can't remember if it had it or not.

I thought all XFR-S didn't have stop start? I remember Ash saying the ECO button was missing.

Nope. Later saloons all had it. From memory Ash's was an early one.
