The members of this site are generally speaking either UK or certainly European based.

We've just had another update to the forum, or some sort of maintenance activity, that's happened during the main daytime hours over here. Whilst it was only a few minutes it's kinda annoying.

@Jag_Admin can these updated not be pushed to a different time? What time zone are the admins located in?

I thought the admins were based in either Ontario or Texas.

That’s just where their office is though. The admins could be anywhere in the world :)

VerticalScope does not just provide the forum software for this forum but hundreds of other fora. An example being SLK World for MB SLKs. Therefore it will never be the right time for updates for some users.

The software is per forum, so updating one, won't affect the others. It's more about where the members are located. The vast majority of members here are in Europe/UK

Ok - the forum is back up and running again, after being down since roughly 3:30pm (GMT) - on Chrome - though quite a bit slower than it was.

Why are TyreForums insistent on doing updates during the working day?????

Once again, why can this not be done during the quiet hours when most of the forum members are asleep?

I'm not entirely sure this was an update.

I also notice that they haven't responded to this thread at all

It might be an idea to raise the issue on this thread: We Are Live - Community Feedback as Cricket(?) did advise that as they watch that thread and not necessarily any others..
