It's a good looking bottle in real life too Dave.. and fully befits the liquid it contains in a non bu11sh1ty manner tbh..

Mrs. PeteA will probably put it to good use after it has served it's initial purpose..

By filling it with a mix of petrol, paraffin & Avgas, along with a suitable material for it's 'cork'.. to help repel any pirates... (y)

I totally understand, sir

but...

I downed the top self ,in one, on my 21st ( in a dress, in a hotel, when working at Sellafield).
Not touched a drop since.. but love it in deserts, baileys etc.

I would love to be able to enjoy a decent drop..but like white rum it turns my stomach.

Spot on Dave, I was abused by a uneducated pal. circ 1999 New Year’s Eve, yeah I know once in a live time! Had a few beers was feed a schooner of whisky, which turns out to be half whisky half mixer.

Was in bed 11.30 so missed ’the bells’ never touched it since, thanks mate!

oh edit, did do a whisky tasting experience autumn last year with Edinburgh’s newest brewery but once poisoned once afflicted :( turns out I don‘t like peaty whisky, tolerance to others.
i know not a typical Scot, but who is?

used to take whisky and coffee in a thermos to school from being 14y.o.
Not sure about the whisky but the coffee wasn't mellow birds, I know that much

( my dad was quite the libertarian when it came to alcohol)

Funnily enough John, this one is the cards this weekend:

181458

When I say 'on the cards'.. the correct translation from Kernish to England would be: 'Evaporating Alarmingly'....

Thanks for suggestion.. and.. for my now very own little piece of Islay: Jaguar Forum

It is quite 'Petiey' to be honest.. but a very nice 'Petiey' when mixed with a wee touch of water....
