Try Orchard Thieves if you see it in the booze aisle.

visited a high end shop known as Home Bargains.. you may have one near you.

A veritable Alladin's cave of all manner of crap but...they do Michelob Ultra.

A bottle on rapid chill now.

Carlsberg Export was a favourite of Mrs PeteA's and mine for years, the reformulated 'ordinary' Carlsberg has taken it's crown now though, have you tried it yet?

AVoid the bottles - they have 'foaming agent' in them. The tins are fine, very fine.

Also gave a killer hangover. The tins don't have the foaming agent in them. Hangover is a cert if you drink enough of them - but nowhere near like the bottles with foaming agent.

This was a few years ago though - so maybe Carlsberg have managed to delete the foaming agent from the bottles.

had a chilled pint of a quality fizzy wine named charlmain ..or similar.
It's nearest equivalent would be Lambrini or Scrumpy Jack.

After the second half pint, it's still crap 😀...

wonderful..
do you have Co² set up, or do you use bottles?
Bottles. I haven't brewed for years, my wife bought me loads of equipment and some decent kits (not the big tinned ones) for my birthday last year, thought I'd better get cracking. I did once have a pressure barrel but the beer doesn't keep and it won't fit in the fridge to chill, plus the beer was totally flat. I kept all my beer bottles since lockdown 1.0, it's almost shameful how many I have!

Deb's has kept 100's of bottle caps, to do...not quite sure.

Back in the day Alpine used to deliver pop ( you may also remember Corona) in very decent bottles with a sturdy screw on top...PERFECT for homebrewing.

Recreate your own Weatherspoons by pouring treacle over your lounge carpet, asking your eldest son to piss his jeans and convince your missus to wear a blouse 3 sizes too small and have one of her norks half hanging out.
