Anyone here tried "Four Pillars Bloody Shiraz Gin"?

Quick cheeky bottle of Thistly Cross 'Whisky Cask' cider disappearing er.. 'evaporating' rather more quickly than I'd anticipated currently..

Complete Shock Horror though.. the bottle tops now are gold Saltires.. not blue!!!

Mrs. PeteA and I can't help on that one Wilf.. seems to get good reviews though.. but not too cheap.

Caorunn gin is a very nice 'gently' flavoured gin that we can recommended though..

I felt that it was only right that I opened another bottle for.. er.. further 'scientific evaluation'.. and it would appear that the results are the same..

The 'scientific conclusion' therefore is that the new 'Sassenach' gold coloured Saltire bottle tops do indeed cause considerably more evaporation than the original (and proper) blue ones... (y)

have you forgotten, John.

A few of the threads are a homage to the Paedophiles of old.

Fruity. Or berry to be more specific. Took a few sips to get my palate used to it, I'm more used to lemon gins. Made a change from lemon or plain gin. I think it's a compliment to other gins to have in the cupboard rather than a favourite I'd do the whole bottle over a weekend. I'll try again tonight while I have the limes about, I think I need the citrus to balance the berry taste. Certainly worth a try and not expensive if on offer in the local supermarket. I think it was cheaper than the same size bottle of Bombay Sapphire.

This is good. Especially at £5.50 a bottle.

Yes, I'd highly recommend the Barefoot Merlot. Very yum.

Unfortunately I can't get my blood/alcohol levels back to their correct levels until after I return from picking Mrs. PeteA up tonight at ~20:30.. :(

I'm hoping to be comfortably numb by then.
