Just seeing if there's any interest on here before they go on the bay of E.

I've got some Thule roof pads and the adaptor clamps to fit a saloon X250. The rails themselves I'm keeping but they appear to be the cheapest part of the set.

The fixing points on the X250 are fairly close together with it having such a slope on the back of the car so it might not work with larger roof boxes.


Anyone interested? Not really looked at prices yet.

Comprises of....

Thule kit 754 (Rapid system foot pack). This is the bit that attaches to the bars. Still available online at £90-100.

Thule 14-1527 (Rapid fit roof pack). The specific jaguar moulded roof part that adapts to the above. Available online at some places for about (£40), but not easy to get hold of.

Just requires (not included) Thule 7124 evo squarebars to complete the set for about £50. There are the wingbars (less wind noise) available too, but not sure which ones you'd need.

I've attached the fitting PDF.

The XF equipped with Thule bars will take a sizeable roof box.....

It's more a case of the centres underneath the box, as the bars have to be reasonably close together, a longer box might not go together close enough to fit.
