Hi guys,

did anybody find a solution for 2022 maps on the original system?
Surprisingly last version is 2020...same as Volvo IAM2.1

Sorry @hamedhbb , I didn't manage to brick and update my SatNav according your guideline.... was too busy....

And now it seems a little bit needless to update my SatNav with maps from 2020. Which are most likely made with data from 2019.
My current version is 2018.

Yes and you get there faster!
Alternative options are more intrusive like the android system retrofits.

Yes @hamedhbb . Had that in mind, too. But I'm wondering if they implemented all the Jaguar system stuff like heated seats level, board computer (mpg, distance,...)

Yes they do. There are two types. Some highjack the display when you are in Nav menu only. The remaining menus are bypassed as standard. Others (like Tesla style) reproduced the menus and buttons. Regardless what you’d miss is the satnav directions on instruments cluster.

I have tried to see if an open-source map could be converted into the KIWI format that is used by OE head unit but it sounds like a project that doesn’t worth the time.
