Would anyone happen to have a diagram, or provide advise, on how to get behind bumper to push parking sensor back into place please? I suspect clip has broken but I'm wonder if I can affix back in place if I can get it back through the hole.

Seems, somehow, one of mine has been forced through hole or has worked it's way loose and is no residing 1-2cm inside bumper.

Thanks in advance.

Hi Rich. Welcome to the forum.
Front or rear bumper?

OK. (Front sensors are also often referred to as "reversing" sensors as they only become active when you select reverse.) . . . . (OK, yes, you can activate them by pressing the button in the overhead console).

Right, back to the question. I suspect you're going to have to at least partially release the bumper from underneath. I could post the procedure for the X250 which is probably the same but there are plenty of X260 owners here so you should get some "accurate" advice along soon.

Thank you, hopefully someone will have a diagram. I was hoping to avoid doing anything major as I'm really not great with cars tbh!

Rich, is it the inner or outer sensor?

They just clip into place.
The outer ones can be reached easily from underneath, the two inner ones will need the valance removed at lease but possibly the whole bumper removed.

I’ve had the bumper off mine and its a straightforward process.

I’ll have look again this morning just to confirm that.

Thanks all - it was one of the central ones. Way above my level to take that off so popped into local jag specialist and they've sorted! Thanks for everyone's replies!
