Dear friends,
Had a scratch on the LHS dash trim for about 7 years now and it’s always bugged me. It’s now possible to pick up trim items rather inexpensively. See the example part below. I have some questions before I have a go, grateful for any insight:
1. are there any trim removal tools which are recommended to remove this dash fascia panel?
2. is there a risk I’m going to get an airbag in my face?
3. On the second photo below, there appears to be a cut wire, what is this for? Assume I can just hook up to whatever is there on my car. I’ve seen the whole air vent module for sale with other wiring but I only need the facia.

Just a heads up in case you were not aware , and I think this is correct information but early years the silver was very silverish ( = my car 2008) , later years ( facelift ???) looks structurally the same but more goldish silver . I've seen some ads saying "suits 2008-2015" but this might not be exactly true.
