Also have you tried adjusting the temp on the app or not adjusting the temp on the app before you remote start?

My Remote Start seems to work fine now. The app even says that the engine is on and running :)

Looks like the service provider (whoever it is) has some minor problems with its servers time to time...

I did not use the Jaguar Remote app for some time. Today I tried to start the Climate Control, but it doesn’t work.

The app itself is running, and connect to the car, I can activate the bip/flash, but the climate control doesn’t start the engine. It says "Requesting" for a couple of minutes, then says "Unable to check request…” or something different time to time:

I looked through the driver’s window, and can see the dash is starting, the "P" symbol is highlighted on the gear selector, but the engine doesn’t start. Dash turns itself off after ~20 seconds...

Can someone check if his app is working? I wonder if this is a Jaguar server/network problem, or something wrong with the car…
Hi I'm having the exact same issues as you,did you resolve it in the end? I wonder if I need a new battery as my stop/start function has not worked for the last 6 months.

It is working fine now (w/o any tweaking).

I think the proper operation of the Start/Stop is necessary for a remote start.

Me. If I’m not in any rush to get somewhere then why not, I’ve paid for the facility.

does it work if you switch off your a/c?

Would a pending code (no check engine light) prevent the remote starter feature? I have a 2018 F Pace S and i have a pending code P0087. The check engine light isnt on. When i try the remote starter it doesnt work. When i clear the code and remote start it , it would run for 15 seconds then shut off by itself and wont start again with the incontrol app unless i clear the pending code again.

Is your Jaguar Remote subscription active?
Does Remote Locking work?
Can you see your journeys in the app?
Are you on the latest version of the App, the 'blue' one?

Also, there should be a dash and two more digits after the P0087, ie P0087-xx, which may help narrow the problem.
P0078 is a fuel rail pressure issue, so it may prevent remote start, but if the car starts and runs with you in it, then it probably should start remotely.

Best get that seen to before it fails completely.

Thank you, the incontrol app locks and unlocks, the beep&flash also works but wouldnt start. It keep sayniny requesting then it gives me an error for a timeout. The app is the latest version and i can see journeys too. The fault code is P0087-64 and i have already replaced the fuel rail pressure sensor but it didnt change anything :/

There are a couple of those on here.

On the engine issue, there aren’t many V6 petrol owners on here who have experienced any engine issues so you might struggle to get a correct answer.

Assuming you have no warranty I think you’d be wise to have a Jaguar specialist look at it.
Have you anyone close that looks after Jaguars?

Also have you been onto the F-Pace forum?

As an aside, anyone noticed that with V2 of the Jaguar Remote app, the Apple Watch app is removed? No longer able to use the Watch with Remote, phone only. Grrrrr. Why remove that?
