the sportbrake was offered as standard with dark tint rear glass,

but as a no-cost option , you could delete this , which meant normal glass , personal preference i suppose

i would suspect very few chose this option, and could make this car one of only a few

Interesting, I think privacy glass was optional on both my S and R-S as I had to get them tinted myself.

Wonder why it was standard on the sportbrakes and not the saloons.

I suspect that it's thought that you'd be carrying stuff in the boot that needs to be out of sight with the tints?

Pretty sure that's the first Sportbrake I've seen without 'privacy glass'. Fairly unusual to see one in blue.. at least down this way..
