the P300 having two turbos with 400 torques and 296bhp offers 0-62mph in 6 secs, which isn't tardy for a 2500kg lump.

The P250 is single turbo and supposedly hit 62mph in 7.7 secs, which isn't bad.

TDi tuning suggest 303 bhp .. and extra torques.

Any ideas what I cld expect to gain, except a few more penalty points?

My advice: save your money.
The box on mine has the power up to about 310 horses and just under 700 metric torques (500ish imperial torques) but I have never used it. Thinking of selling it.

When you fit them, your anticipation is high and it’s generally a let down, but when you remove it, you can feel the loss of power, especially on a diesel as the uplift in useable torque is immense

I've had the old one reflashed , with new leads, for about £100- John.

That box is probably saving you money at the pumps.

It's only just struck me why. I'd forgotten you'd defected to the paraffin burners. I suppose the "P" in the title should have been a clue. DOH!
