Welcome Barry, and don't worry, we trawled the shallow end of the gene pool for the majority of the members here, self included. :)

Hi, thanks for the welcome!
I’ve got a 59 plate xf.
86k on the clock and all is well at the moment , except for an annoying clunk when selecting ‘P’ , which brought me here.
what sort of pics? cars I hope?:D

You car would be preferable... ;)

Though threads round here regularly go off topic quite quickly.. so a picture of your fish tank or vacuum cleaner wouldn't surprise many of us... :D

thanks for all the comments, it’s just a cheapy bush steamer from argos.
the floor cleaner I mean not the wife!
And she don’t steam her bush with it, it’s a steamer made by Bush! :ROFLMAO:.
As for the car it’s very clean really , not hugely reliable but comfort and speed in abundance, seriously considering a remap by celtic tuning, the figures look good!!

well not unreliable but in 4 years,
2 door handle / mechs
alternator
electric window motor
throttle body
2 water leaks
expansion bottle
countless headlight bulbs for some reason and it seems to go through tyres and brake discs for fun.
still love it though.

Door handle mechs and alternator are reasonably common.. headlight bulbs isn't though...

Welcome to the mad house Barry, repeated headlamp bulb failures is usually related to too many volts from the alternator melting them, are they extremely bright? Never changed any bulbs on the 2 XF's I had, it's not a regular feature.
