Well, seeing as my Introduce Yourself thread has been done to death, I thought it was about time I started a Gallery thread.

I had some time to fettle with the car today.

First step was to replace the number plate filament bulbs with LED's. I also replaced the bulbs on the vanity mirrors with LED's as one of those wasn't working.

Next step was to sort the exhaust tips out.

After:

I then refitted the freshly painted SpeedPack Splitters.

And then went into a field of my folks for some out of the way photographs.

I'm smitten now, I can't wait to see it after it's paint correction next week :)

David.

Awesome pics, very nice!!

Sent from my iPhone X and Jaguar XF V8 Supercharged
Very nice indeed, though I would say that as it's almost identical to mine, it'll look awesome with all the swirls out as it's a really nice reflective colour. Then comes the task of not putting them back in.
Wow, properly good looking car and great shots! Enjoy!
Nice. Seriously nice.
Although I'm a biased observer . . . Mmmm, Stratus Grey . .

Thanks guys :)

Unfortunately I was midway through decluttering the workshop so there's a load of crap outside the door, however, I love this picture. You can really see that the car is grey and not black as in the field it looks almost black :)

The more miles I do in it, the more smitten I'm getting. The car really does have two personalities, it's incredibly relaxing and sedate when pottering around and on the motorway, especially with the Median Surround System, however, when switched to Dynamic and Sport the thing flies. I'm so glad I persevered and waited, even although the last few days were a toss up between head and heart.

David.

Not sure why my pictures above are big but that ones added as a thumbnail, never mind.

Glad you are enjoying it at last. I did try to warn you of the split personality... One moment 4 door family saloon car and then a fire breathing muscle car! Have fun and you will soon for get the trials to get it fixed. Happy motoring. Time to think about the exhausts (Spires or Quicksilver)!
Are those quads crooked?
They were. Well spotted. I took that photo while I was fitting them and was still adjusting.

Looks fantastic David. Glad the XFR is paying you back for your patience! Well done for hanging in there for what is a fantastic car ;)
My XFR is being used as a wedding car tomorrow (I'm doing the photography). Not sure if it's a bridal car or a get-away one?!!
Keep the engine running just in case...

Well if you had asked, you could have had a white one to use. Too late now though :D
Looks really good, congratulations.

Nah - "something borrowed, something blue!"
Your images has inspired me to instruct my wife to wash my XFR. She is heaving the pressure washer around as I type this.

Love the 1965 plate. :p
