So my gorilla wheel nuts turned up today from the good old USA and I wanted them swapped over a.s.a.p.
I also wanted to take a trip down to reid speed which is my local land rover specialist to meet them and discuss if they will look after my car and if they do warranty work.

Happy days as the guy who was there was very helpful, was a bit of a petrol head so we were talking about my impreza and his series 2 RS turbo, I then mentioned about swapping the wheel nuts over and he offered to do it there and then for a tenner, never before have i ripped a tenner out of my pocket so fast.
I was really worried about the nuts not budging but to be fair they all came out without fuss.they were really really rusty though, I see now how shite they are.
Hoping the black doesn't scratch off everytime they get taken off and put back on. Great news is that they can take care of any warranty work and do anything that my car needs, best of all they are about 1 mile from my house.
Glad I nipped out now :)

Looking good, hopefully the garage torqued them up by hand rather than a rattle gun??

yep he did, he trains his staff to torque things up correctly and not just rattle gun everything up
One click or two or three?

1 is the correct way. Bugs me when tyre fitters double or triple click breakhead torque wrenches.
Know what you mean. But there is always the distinctive click-click when you reach the set torque and then let go.

No problems with the black Gorilla nuts chipping or scratching, I have had the exact same nuts on the F-Type for some four years now and taken them off and refitted them so many times I have lost count and they still look like new.
