I had my turbo fixed at a garage.
Today they called me up saying the new turbo is in, but the gear selector won't go down and the N letter is blinking.
I went there to check it myself.
When i press the start button the car runs. But the Knob stays up en de letter N starts blinking.
When i stop the engine. The gear selector still stays up and won't go down. Anyone else had this issue?

My car:
Jaguar XE 2.0D 163pk 2016

Thanks in advance

Didn't I read a similar problem recently and it turned out the Bowden cable had kinked or something?

Yes, the lever the cable operates via the handle on the side of the transmission was stiff and pushing the handle back wasn't fully pushing the lever. Get under the car and ensure the lever is being fully returned.
