More than likely because in a few weeks they'll have to come off. Driving in the warmer weather on winter tyres is dreadful.

Isnae. Been doing it now for 3 years on “winter tyres”. Will soon swap them out for “normals” and will report honestly of any difference. Only time the cold weather tyres made me poo was utterly torrential rain on a very mild night……nearly saw my own rear lights. Urrawise been fine.
