tricky one

depending on skill level and confidence there are a few options

#1, trace back and fully replace damaged loom, this is the trickiest, but best option

#2 , identify local broken wires ensuring the replacement is the same, stagger cut the old cable ( so the ends are not the same length ) then offer up the new loom and cut that to enable to splice the cable,, best way is to solder each end together and cover with heat shrink insulation ( slide it on first mind ) , then wrap the loom in cotton electrical tape ,this requires some skill and confidence

#3, cut out the damage and crimp in the new loom, will work, bit of a bodge, cant guarantee longevity of repair given the location

good luck
