What do you guys prefer. Top or bottom? Then I’ll let you know which I’ve gone for...

Definitely the top, looks like it has wheels rather than voids.

Top without doubt.

Are there any wheels in the bottom photo?

I’m a fan of gloss black, mine have stainless bolts which lessened the overall black effect.

But, if I had a choice, I’d put the upper set of diamond cut wheels in that colour into my car.

Thanks guys just what I wanted to hear ! I had to get rid of black that came with the car, at night there would be nothing to see!

But I think silver or anthracite would look wrong on my XKR?

From a less oblique angle you can see through the spokes of the Vulcans.

Although I did warm to my gloss black alloys after a years ownership and did feel it perhaps did suit the car I would always choose non-black given the option.

Silver wheels match the window trim. If you had all black window trim like Statlers, then it may have been better with all black alloys.

For the 260, definitely the cut wheels but for the XKR, definitely black. BTW what a beaut that XKR is. (y)

The top diamond cut alloys look way better, they really blend in with the colour of the car. I would get the chrome window trim wrapped gloss black, wouldn't cost much and would match the rest of the car.

There is no substitute for silver wheels on any car IMHO. Phil

White with black wheels is a great combination.

Here are the same wheels on my white x250

Thank you Brian, I've not had it all that long, it needed a bit of titivation and tinkering, all of which I knew about (mostly) when I bought it. Downside to owning the XKR is I can't stop glancing back when I park it and walk away, then I do the same with the XFS and think "It just looks fat and bloated!".

I’ve got a 240 chequered flag, same colour with the black 18 inch wheels, what’s the difference in ride with the 20s? Might go to 19s, hardly worth 19s if it’s still a good ride on 20s. Ta.
Where did u get those 20s from?

I would definitely go 20”. I can’t notice much difference to be honest in general driving. Just when going over something like dropped kerbs and turning and the same time if that makes sense ?

I got myself a bargain from eBay. Wheels and tyres package only done 200 miles with original p zero tyres.

There’s another guy selling a similar set on eBay but asking for £1495
