I didn’t either, I assumed it only light up red when selected, and off when not

Checked mine today and my park is the only red led, rest are yellow and not lit when not selected.
perhaps this is a difference between the x250 and x260?

Link to first video - this is just as I pulled into the drive and noticed none of the lights were lit up.

Link to second video - I'd turned the engine off then on again and you can see the light flicker between N & D.

Kids were in the car so apologies for the background noise lol.

It's almost certainly a dry joint on the PCB inside the unit. I can't see any reason to think it's anything else.

Yup, agree with Phil. Pull it out and go over the circuit board and connectors with a soldering iron.
