No, this isn’t a celebration of Wilf’s previous escapades ;)

There are few places on earth where motorsport fans can enjoy eight decades worth of racing, but that's exactly what the Donington Historic Festival provides, with cars in action from as far back as the 1920s.

With a mix of pre-war sports cars, Sixties saloons, mighty GT cars and much more, this event features hundreds of racing machines, with many rare and immensely valuable examples among the roster.

Big car club displays, exhibitions, demonstrations and themed trade areas all add to the festival feel, with the open paddock allowing easy access to amazing cars and numerous star drivers!
Date is 1-3 May 2020. We attended last year and I think those that came enjoyed themselves.

Who’s in?

I am NOT a "historic".

Just yet......

I'll probably be there, too.

Good good ;)

1. Chris
2. Ancill
3. Wilf

Now, the only other thing is that I heard that the Duxford Spring Car Show might be returning for 2020 and it might be the same weekend. We could do both, as Donington is across the weekend. But I will keep you posted.

Good idea. Free lift to Donington.

Do we do both days? Asking for a friend.

I am going to Book Jaginfo into this event next week so I need to get an estimate on numbers. I assume we are going with the Saturday on Donington and if Duxford happens then I will book that for the Sunday?

It was Sunday at Donington last year because it was the Jag "Breakfast Meet" on Saturday. Does it clash this year? I'd prefer Sunday.

I’m happy to book either. It doesn’t look like Duxford is happening.
