Dear all, hi @Philayl
found your post from 2020 (Coolant Replacement). Did you manage to replace it on your own?
Was it easy to loose the radiator drain screw/plug?
I will replace my coolant after a coolant pump change this summer. Just topped it up with water (didn't plan to loose so much coolant) and now want to change it completly. Didn't want to mix different vendors. Now I found this capacitiy hint in the handbook with the service fill....ok...so I will mix the old and the new vendor anyway. So I hope it doesn't matter as long as you mix fluids with the given specification Ford WSS-M97B44-D.
Did you have to fill the the amount for the service fill or the dry fill?
I understand the difference, but not where it comes from. Means you never can exchange 100% of the
coolant? Why? Just interested in the reason why.
