If you have zero compression, then I'm certain you have more damage than a failed head gasket.

See my rebuild thread. I had zero compression across a whole bank, and that was due cracked pistons. The other side had a suspected failed gasket; it still had some compression.

I think you need to see a proper place that deals in rebuilding engines. You don't just want a parts fitter. I bought my car in a broken state so I don't know for certain its history, however my suspicion is original engine went pop (for totally unknown reason), a second hand engine went in (used prices here are circa £6k) which had partially seized up over time on a pallet. Once it was started it broke the pistons. Then the owner had enough of it, stopped making the payments and it was repossessed. The rest is in my thread.
