At around half the width of a normal car I'd be a bit sceptical of the stability of the car. Not something I personally would look into.

Everyone is jumping on the EV bandwagon so they won't be left behind if it takes off and dominates. It won't in the near future because of simple logistics.... cost, charge times and availability, and range. None of which have simple solutions despite all the hype. Today EVs are an excellent fit only for urban commuting and those that can afford them.

    What's the point?

It'll cost virtually the same to produce as a 4 seater.

+1 And what's to be gained by paring the width?

You will be able to avoid police cars by driving between bollards.
XF replaced by a big tractor due to intransigence of Jaguar marketing. When I wanted to order, a V6 engine and a Portfolio interior was mutually exclusive if you lived in the UK, but not elsewhere.

    Old lives matter!
