It's a piece of foam, described to me as like a kid's swimming noodle, which is inserted into the tank. This is accessed by removing the rear seat squab and going down into the top of the tank through the floor.

I had mine done just before Christmas while it was in for fixing the wheels. Mentioned it to them only a couple of days before it was due in, but it was completed without question (or invoice) as part of that same visit. Spot on!

And it has largely fixed the problem, although I do hear/feel the odd clunk underneath still.

They have never properly apologised, wouldn't even offer to cover my return costs. I complained via CRC and eventually received a gift voucher. I would far rather they apologised, and immediately offered some form of recompense, didn't have to be financial. I was really disappointed.
    Agree, poor show!
Mine has now been assessed and approved for the to be carried out via Jaguar direct, warrantee won't cover it yet they have to apply, be rejected then apply to Jaguar Ltd. daft, but true.
Along with roof light cluster, still discoing after the gel pad being added, oh and a stiff door handle to boot, no a door handle not a boot handle

I dont mine taking it back in and its not a massive irritation but its bit of a ball ache having to go back again.
Make sure the level of diesel in the tank is as low as possible when you take it in

That's ridiculous, a common problem and they didn't have the parts which can't be much in either value or the foam inserts or whatever. Perhaps you need to ask if they have oil in stock when you book a service?

Thats it, the service advisor as LR in NP has moved over to MK too, she used to be at Luton Jag before. Used to take my old XType there back in the day. Might see you around if you're local Scooby.

I saw over the last week or so that the cars were arriving and the LR side of things also moved to as the old showroom at NP now empty.

Yep mine is in their new premises. It looks impressive, big and plenty of space for customers to chill out and get refreshments. Drive in service bays as well. Its all very nice customer service but as long as they look after my car I don't mind. I have a base XF 2.0d prestige loan car... cannot wait to get my beasty back!

OK, I go past it everyday, lights were on but no one at home last week. Will try to have another look tomorrow.

Only 3 seats in the truck: one for the driver and two for the ladies. My pal John and I were high, wide and handsome in the car. I was wide, John was handsome and we were both high (no, not in an illegal substance way).
